I know it’s a bit late, but I want to do a favourites post every month, so apologies for my lateness.
When I say favourites, I really mean the products I am using and going back to time and time again. These favourites may not be to everyone’s taste or indeed work well for you, but do for me.
CLARINS EXTRA COMFORT FOUNDATION
The first product is from Clarins. The Extra Comfort foundation with SPF15 is new to me, but I’m really loving it. The shade is 110 Honey, and this is a good match for my skin. It is also lovely and silky smooth to apply and blends easily. I will definitely be repurchasing this foundation. It retails at £36 from Debenhams.
CLARINS INSTANT LIGHT LIP BALM PROTECTOR
Another Clarins product, this time their Instant Light Lip Balm Protector in Shade 05 Red. This is gorgeous. Very moisturising and not sticky at all. A delicious shade of red and perfect for the summer. Very light and easy to wear. £18.50 at Debenhams.
NYX BORN TO GLOW LIQUID ILLUMINATOR in shade Gleam
This is a very recent purchase, as our local branch of Boots has just started stocking this brand. If you have a lovely young skin, then this would look great on its own, but as my old skin looks better with a wee bit more coverage, then I have been using this under my foundation. It does make the skin look more radiant without being too shiny. Costs £7.00 at Boots.
SEPHORA BUBBLE MASK DETOXIFYING AND OXYGENATING WITH WHITE TEA
This is something I picked up from Sephora on my recent trip to France. The title fascinated me – Bubble Mask. I was curious to try this out. I have to say, this is the weirdest mask I have ever use. It feels like polystyrene when you are massaging it in to the skin. Very odd texture full of bubbles, but when rinsed off it left my skin very soft and lovely, so I am really surprised by this.
Just had to pop these sunglasses on the list. I bought these in a little boutique and I really love them. They sit really comfortably on my face and I love that they are tortoiseshell with mocha coloured arms. Really happy with these and they were only £24.00 – bargain.
So that’s it for this month. I could have mentioned quite a few more products but will leave them for another time.
What are your favourites at the moment? I would love to know, so leave a comment below.
Have a lovely week my friends.
