This week’s favourites ….

IMG_0886This week I have picked five favourite items that I have been using and loving consistently over the past few weeks.

Sometimes you pick up something in your local Boots the Chemist and are really surprised at how you love it.  This is what happened when I picked up BOURJOIS MAT ILLUMINATING BRONZING POWDER. I have to say, I don’t like the packaging but the powder is fantastic – a great shade and super bendable.  I am reaching for this every day and I am glad that I picked it up.

Back in April I posted a blog on brow products and I included Soap and Glory’s Archery brow sculpting crayon, which I wasn’t too keen on at the time of writing.  I have since changed my opinion on this product, but have also started using BENEFIT GOOF PROOF BROW PENCIL which is almost identical.  It is a  waxy brow pencil that is easy to use and keeps the brows neat and well shaded.  If you are like me and have two completely different brows then this product is excellent in creating the perfect brows.

I love nail polish, and the summer means I can indulge this love to its fullest.  Never mind the lack of sunshine, Mr Dior can make my nails shine with my favourite no 769 DIOR FRONT ROW polish.  A beautiful, glistening shocking pink.  I love it.

On my lips I have been obsessing over CLINIQUE’S NO 20 SUGAR POP.  This is a gorgeous nude rose pink shade and it goes with every type of makeup look.  I have been using this most days during the last month.

FullSizeRender 8Finally, after watching a YouTube video by Kaushal Beauty where she used this product, I thought I would give it a try.  It is the MAYBELLINE ERASER EYE PERFECT AND COVER CONCEALER and I have it in two shades – Nude and Light.  This is a great concealer for under the eyes and around the nose.  I use the nude shade to cover any pigmentation spots or blemishes and the light shade for under the eyes.  It is really easy to apply with the sponge applicator and at first I thought that this might be a little unhygienic, but I have washed the applicator and it doesn’t seem to have effected it in any way.

So, these are just a few of the products I have been using and loving recently.

I hope you all have a great week ahead and see you soon.

  1. I have GlossyBox and just subscribed to Sephora Play. I haven’t gotten one yet… I’m waiting… But I also did Le Metier de Beaute this year. Very excited!
