September favourites….

I have been using quite a few new products  this month and I am really pleased with all of them.

Recently, I decided to stop dyeing my hair and let the greys show.  At the moment I can’t decide if this is a good idea or not.  I have been colouring my hair for years and I think it is beginning to look quite dry and not at all shiny.  Hopefully, without the colour on it, it will be much more healthy.  On the other hand, am I ready for grey hair?  Not sure, but I haven’t wavered yet.

L’OREAL PROFESSIONAL COLOR CORRECTOR

This is to take any brassiness out of the hair, and you wash and towel dry your hair and apply the corrector (a lovely deep purple shade) and leave for five to ten minutes. This was recommended by my hairdresser and it does seem to work.  I have been using it for a couple of weeks and my hair is definitely looking like it has less red in it.

GARNIER SKINACTIVE MICELLAR OIL-INFUSED CLEANSING WATER

I have been a great fan of Garnier Micellar waters in general, and when I saw this latest one I thought I would give it a go.  It is for dry and sensitive skin and great a removing even waterproof make-up. I find this is great at leaving the skin feeling very soft and cleansed and not at all greasy.  Thumbs up from me.

SIMPLE KIND TO SKIN DUAL EFFECT EYE MAKE-UP REMOVER

Although the Garnier Micellar water is good at taking of waterproof make-up, I do like to use a specific remover as I do use a lot of mascara.  This one from simple is brilliant at taking eye make-up off without having to rub the eyes. Don’t forget to shake the bottle before using.

BENEFIT 3D BROWTONES

Who doesn’t like a polished brow.  This product I find easy to use and the colour is just right for me.  I have been using this every day since I bought it.

MUA SWEET SHEEN LIP BALM IN CHERRY BOMB

I recently decided to take a closer look at the cheaper end of drugstore make-up and came across this tinted lip balm by MUA.  I love it – it isn’t sticky or tacky, but lovely and smooth. The colour is great and I love everything about it, except that the lid won’t stay on!  The bonus is that it only cost £2!

I can’t believe how quickly the months are flying by this year, and I hope you enjoyed this post.

Have a great week everyone xxxxx
