Now that the clocks have gone back an hour and the nights are drawing in, it’s the perfect time to give yourself a treat and have a pamper evening.
I know most people will run a bath and relax in luxurious bubbles, but I hardly ever do that. I am definitely a shower girl and will only take to the bathtub if I am absolutely freezing. My relaxing time comes after all the bath time stuff and when I chill out in the bedroom.
In the shower I love to use Soap & Glory’s Sugar Crush body wash and scrub. The smell is so gorgeous and I absolutely love it. To moisturise, I use their Body Buttercream in Sugar Crush to amplify that smell.
Time to take the face off. As I’m using Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm, I do not need to use a separate eye make up remover, as this balm removes everything. Such a lovely cleansing balm. I use this to do two cleanses that I remove with a warm, damp flannel.
As it’s a pamper evening, I am going to apply a face mask. Tonight I am using L’Oreals Pure Clay Detox Mask. A brilliant deep cleansing mask that has become a real favourite. Remove after it has completely dried with a damp, warm flannel. I keep a separate flannel for removing this mask as it will stain.
I do a quick wipe over with a cotton pad and L’Oreal’s Micellar Water. Then another sweep of a cotton pad with Pixi Glow Tonic which, if you have never used this product, then I highly recommend that you try it. My skin has improved since I have been using this and it seems to keep it on an even keel.
Next I massage in some of the Body Shop’s Oils of Life Intensely Revitalising Facial Oil and then the Sleeping Cream. Face done!
I pop on some Sally Hansen Vitamin E Nail and Cuticle Oil on my nails and massage in, and then some Clarins Hand and Nail Cream.
The only thing left to do is make a coffee (I know, not a good idea before bed, but I’m addicted) and relax with a great book.
How do you unwind and relax? I would love to know, so comment below…..
Take care and see you next week xx
