December’s Glossybox has arrived, and I have to say that I am very pleased with everything in it.
This month there was the option to choose from two lipsticks. I have so many dark lipsticks that I chose the nude shade and I thought that it might be a bit pale for me, but I actually really like it. It is from MDM Flow and the shade is Bossy. It feels super comfortable on the lips and not at all drying. It is a semi-matte lipstick and it gets the thumbs up from me.
From Essence, a face luminizer palette. This is stunning. A beautiful palette of three shades of highlighting powders, a taupe, a rose gold and a bronze/gold shimmer. This is a very affordable brand and this retails at £3, which I think is amazing.
Gosh is a brand I haven’t tried before, and I am loving this shade of dark green eyeshadow. It is a glittery shadow, so will be perfect for Christmas and the party season if you like to wear a smokey eye.
For those of you who like to set your brows, then Browcote (from the Lipcote company) is a great transparent, lightweight gel that will keep them perfect for hours.
Finally, a nail polish from Revlon in the shade Gray Suede. Revlon claim it lasts for 10 days without chipping. It is a pinky nude shade and is ultra glossy. A good staple colour that is great to add to your collection if you are a nail polish fan.
Some months, you can find one or two items that you would not normally use, but this month I feel that I will definitely be using all of the products.
Also in the box is a leaflet for the charity Give and Makeup. This is a great charity that collects beauty products and toiletries for women that have escaped from domestic violence situations and are living in shelters. To find out more go to carolinehirons.com/p/give-and-makeup.html.
Have a great week everybody. xoxox
Some tempting products there, in part the face luminizer palette and nail polish. I stopped buying the monthly boxes because there were too many products I didn’t like, but I think I’d use all of these.
Hi Gail. Yes I used to subscribe to Birchbox as well, but like you, i wasnt too happy with the products. I have found Glossybox to be better. Thanks for commenting. X
