This week, I thought I would share my everyday make-up look with you .
After prepping my skin I first applied Tanya Burr Cosmetics Face Illuminator. This has been a fairly new discovery for me and I love it because it gives a subtle sheen but doesn’t look too much.
Next, one of the foundations I am using at the moment, No 7 Lift and Luminate foundation in shade Cool Ivory. This foundation does not dry the skin at all, and is easy to blend. I usually apply my foundation with a brush, and then I might go over it with a beauty blender if it needs it.
The concealer I used today is Kick Ass Concealer from Soap & Glory. This is a great concealer, or rather two concealers. It also has an excellent setting powder which I do use under my eyes to stop any creasing.
Next, I take my largest powder brush and sweep Soap & Glory’s Glow All Out luminzing highlighting powder all over my face. I know its meant to be a highlighter, but I think it is quite subtle and it gives a great glow.
The bronzer I used is from Bourjois. Their Mat Illusion Bronzing Powder I have been using for over a year and I haven’t really found a better one.
I don’t always use a highlighter during the day, but it was so gloomy today that I thought I would. The Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette from NYX is a great palette. So many different highlighters in this palette. I used the gold shade on the lower left.
My blusher is a cream chubby stick from Clinique in the shade 01 Amp’d up Apple. Gorgeous shade.
On my brows, I used Benefit Gimme Brow in the shade light/medium.
On my eyes I used the Redemption Palette Iconic 1 from Revolution. I love the shades in this palette and I used the first and third shades from the left.
I used a pencil waterproof eyeliner from Marcelle, in the shade Espresso.
Dior Pump ‘n’ Volume mascara in shade 090 (black) is my latest favourite mascara. It really does make a difference to the length and thickness of your lashes.
Finally, and it does feel like I’ve used a lot of products, the lipstick is Dior Addict 680 After Party. This lipsticks are well named as I fear I have become addicted to them!
So that was todays look. I apologise for the state of the hair, but growing out the grey is taking forever. I reckon I still have another year to 18 months before I am free of the dyed ends.
Have a great week everyone.
