A Wilko store has recently opened near to where I live, and having been made aware of the Essence brand by another blogger ( www.rougepout.org/ and instagram rouge pout_beauty) I thought I would do a mini haul of some of their products.
The first thing that caught my eye was the nail polishes. I picked two of the Gel Nail polish, one in pink and the other a grey/lavender shade. I love both colours and they applied really well. The brush is a good, not too thin (which I hate) and the price is only £1.60.
Along with the nail polish, I picked up the nail polish corrector pen. This is a stroke of genius and it comes with three additional heads. It is very precise and I know that I will be repurchasing when I run out. Costs £2.70.
I needed a pink lip liner, so 07 Cute Pink seemed like a great colour to try. I love the colour although the pencil is a little hard, it had staying power. Cost £1.
Next, I picked up a Matte Liquid Lipstick 04 Ready, Set, Impress. This is a great lipstick, lasts for ages, comfortable to wear and a great colour. Costs £2.30.
The Quattro eyeshadow palette 07 Over the Taupe has now become one of my favourite palettes. The shades are so gorgeous and they are super smooth and blendable. They don’t crease and are just the perfect shades. Cost £3.
MakeMe Brow eyebrow gel mascara in shade o3 Soft Browny Brows costs £2.50 and is just as good as the Benefit Gimme Brow which costs £20. This comes in three shades.
My final product is a blusher – Mosaic Blush in 20 All you need is pink. It is highly pigmented, so you only need a little on the brush. I have used nothing else since I picked it up. It comes in three other colour ranges too. Costs £2.50.
I picked up all of these products for about £17, which I think is amazing. They are great value for money, and I would say they are definitely worth trying especially if you are on a budget.
Have a great week everyone.
