A Little Bit Of Clarins ….

IMG_4636

Who doesn’t like a bit of Clarins skincare?  I do!

My all time favourite hand cream is Hand and Nail Treatment Cream.  It is simply the best hand cream that I have found.  It smells divine, leaves the hands silky smooth and not greasy, and really does help keep nails and skin moisturised.

The Multi-Active Jour day cream is something I have only tried recently and so far, I am loving it!  It sinks in to the skin immediately, leaving it hydrated and soft.

If you like a physical exfoliant rather than an acid type exfoliation, then the Gentle Refiner is a great choice.  It contains natural micrograms that dissolve whilst being massaged into the skin.  No nasty plastic microbeads here!

The Tonic Body Treatment Oil is a fantastic oil that is super moisturising and non greasy. It claims to help remove stretch marks, but I’m not completely convinced anything can if you already have them.  Fortunately I don’t, but this is a great oil to keep your skin smooth and nourished.

The Exfoliating Body Scrub for Smooth Skin is a great way to remove rough skin.  It contains natural bamboo powder to exfoliate any flaky skin.

Finally, I was given a little sample bottle of the Blue Orchid Face Treatment Oil to try.  I am a big fan of facial oils and this one is a great addition to an already large collection!  It is 100% plant based and contains Rosewood, Patchouli and Blue Orchid.  Gorgeous.

If you have never tried anything from Clarins, I can honestly say that their products are extremely good and possibly start with the hand cream and see how you like it.

What are your favourite skincare products?  I would love to know, so leave a comment below.

LOTS OF LOVE, GAIL XXX

  1. There truly isn’t much that can beat a bit of Clarins, in fact there isn’t anything!!! Its an old time favourite and I have been using it too for yonks.
I began using Clarins in South Africa, a French friend of mine Michele (can’t get more original) worked for them when they launched in SA around 1976/77 …at a very old fashioned fancy SA store called John Orr’s. I was laddened with samples, however the one thing she got me to try for her and the house of Clarins was the “boob” oil with its crazy device. A deep bucket type, with a hose and a twirly bit inside the cup. First you would lather your noombies with oil and then attach the hose to the cold water tap, hold the cup over the noombie and turn on. Hold it there for 5 mins am and pm. Love the French’s ingenuity. I didn’t take to it as I was fr too lazy and not quite 21! plus I’m sure it was aimed for an older woman then! lol
The hand and nail cream is a firm favourite and also would have it in my bag and dressing table always.
Love the posts Gail … Kas xx
