July Favourites

My favourite of all the favourites this month, is from Beauty Pie.  Their Plantastic Apricot Butter Cleansing Balm is so bloomin’ good!  It has made such a difference to the texture and feel of my skin, and I have now ordered backups so that I won’t run out.  I would definitely recommend giving this a try.

The next favourite was in the June Glossybox, and it is a product that I would not normally use.  It is the Aloha contour stick from Laritzy Cosmetics.  It is a brilliant thing!

Just pop a line under your cheek bone and blend in.  Perfect contour that doesn’t leave an orange stripe.  A great product and I’m now using it every day.

If you like a liquid eyeliner then look no further than the Pretty Easy Liquid Eyelining Pen from Clinique.  Perfect black, smooth application and stays put.  Easy Peasy.

Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective Dark Circle Perfector with SPF30 is the most brilliant under eye concealer that I have found.

I recently bought some mascara from Boots, and was given a goody bag which included the Rouge Edition Velvet liquid lipstick in shade 07 Nude-ist.  I’m not usually a fan of a matte lip, but this is a great one.  Not at all drying and it stays put for hours, even with eating and drinking.  I’m converted.

Finally, my last favourite this month is a book.  I recently went to the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition which was curated by Grayson Perry.  I am such a fan of his, and so I picked up his book, The Descent of Man, and have been delighted to read it.  An excellent read.

What have been your favourites this month?  Any books to recommend?  I would love to hear from you.
