August most used make-up …

These are the make-up items I have been using consistently throughout August and some I have definitely been using over the past several months.

The By Terry Brightening CC Serum is something I have used everyday since I first received it in the collaboration between Lydia Millen and Cult Beauty, and I am only half way through it, but I have already purchased another bottle.  This is something I don’t want to run out of.

The Vitalumière foundation from Chanel I bought at the beginning of the summer and it is just a great product.  It has buildable coverage but yet it is still a lightweight foundation.

The One Powder Wonder perfecting powder from Beauty Pie doesn’t even feel like a powder.  It is super, super fine and is so silky and smooth on the skin.  It leaves an imperceptible finish over foundation that just gives a wonderful glow.  Gorgeous.

There is one particular thing I love about Bourjois products, and that is the smell.  They smell like old fashioned cosmetics and I love it.  Apart from the smell, I love this blusher No 54 Rose Frisson (frosted rose).  It leaves a natural rosy glow on the cheeks.

The Born To Run Palette from Urban Decay I have been using most days since I bought it.  Lovely pigmented shades and a great mix of matte and shimmer.  You can create natural looking eye make-up or you can really amp it up to create quite dramatic looks with this palette.

Apart from the blooming gorgeous packaging with the pink marble effect case that includes a mirror, this is just the perfect pinky nude shade.  When I’m not sure what lipstick to wear, I wear this one.  It is great to carry around in your bag and it stays in place for hours.  I keep it in my bag all the time.

What have been your make-up favourites this month?
